The American Cinematheque Show
Episode 3: Holiday Spectacular Part 1 - Ghost of Q&As Past
In the American Cinematheque Show’s Holiday Spectacular, host Grant Moninger talks with several longtime friends of the AC about their favorite holiday season films, as they answer the eternal question “What makes a Christmas film?”
In Part 1, “Ghost of Q&As Past” screenwriter Larry Karaszewski returns to the show to discuss his all-time favorite Christmas film, the little known 1969 T.V. Movie J.T., and AC moderator Jim Hemphill breaks down what makes DIE HARD, KISS KISS BANG BANG, and EYES WIDE SHUT the ultimate films for the season. This episode also features interviews from past holiday events at the AC, with guests including Jack Lemmon & Edie Adams (THE APARTMENT), Leon Vitali (EYES WIDE SHUT), Shane Black (KISS KISS BANG BANG), and Steven de Souza (DIE HARD).
