Watch Local: L.A. Public Transit
Series | SPEED, THE ITALIAN JOB, REFLECTIONS OF EVIL and WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT
Los Feliz 3

ABOUT THE SERIES:
As Angelenos head back to school this Fall, the American Cinematheque takes to the streets with a series dedicated to the city’s public transit systems, from buses to the subway, and even our historic red streetcars.
September’s screenings kick off with Jan de Bont’s SPEED, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock as passengers on a bus rigged to explode by the evil Howard Payne (Dennis Hopper). In THE ITALIAN JOB, Mark Wahlberg and more bring the action underground with a Mini Cooper chase through the L.A. subway that must be seen to be believed. Damon Packard’s Bob explores the city on foot and wheels while tracking a message from beyond in REFLECTIONS OF EVIL, and Roger Rabbit and P.I. Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) unravel a conspiracy to disband the Pacific Electric streetcar line in WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT.
