The American Cinematheque is proud to welcome internationally acclaimed Turkish filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan in anticipation of his newest film ABOUT DRY GRASSES. Ceylan’s work often utilizes slow cinema to guide his viewer toward a contemplative experience, meditating extensively on daily life with humor, depth, and tragedy. We are thrilled to have the auteur join us at the Aero Theatre for a discussion after ABOUT DRY GRASSES and his Cannes’ Grand Prix winner ONCE UPON A TIME IN ANATOLIA.
