ABOUT THE SERIES: Join the American Cinematheque in recognizing and celebrating the New Black Horror Movement. After the iconic directorial debut of Jordan Peele in GET OUT, a plethora of films from black artists also using horror to wrestle with the realities of today came forth. In addition to GET OUT, we’ll showcase Mariama Diallo’s MASTER, Nikyatu Jusu’s NANNY, Jordan Peele’s sophomore follow up US, and Bomani J. Story’s THE ANGRY BLACK GIRL AND HER MONSTER.
