ABOUT THE SERIES:
‘It’s Showtime at the AC’ is a new series hosted by the American Cinematheque dedicated to celebrating the art form of the movie musical, in both traditional and untraditional ways. This inaugural edition of the series includes a showcase of rare archival 70mm prints, a directorial tribute to the legendary Bob Fosse, and an assortment of underground and classic takes on the musical.
