A retired soft-drink tycoon (Harry Dean Stanton) lives in a Kansas mansion with his son (Crispin Glover), daughter (Suzy Amis) and odd family. The debut feature film from Michael Almereyda, TWISTER received an IFP Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Feature and was hailed as “Blissfully bonkers…TWISTER emerges as outrageous, original entertainment” by Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers.
