ABOUT THE FILMS:

PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH, 2022, Universal Pictures, 101 Minutes, USA, Dir: Joel Crawford.

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the SHREK universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet. Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. The long-awaited follow-up to the 2011 Academy Award-nominated blockbuster, THE LAST WISH is directed by Joel Crawford and features an all-star comedic cast that includes Salma Hayek Pinault, Harvey Guillén, Florence Pugh, John Mulaney, Wagner Moura, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, Anthony Mendez, Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

THE BAD GUYS, 2022, Universal Pictures, 100 Minutes, USA, Dir: Pierre Perifel.

In the new action comedy from DreamWorks Animation, a crackerjack criminal crew of animal outlaws are about to attempt their most challenging con yet—becoming model citizens. Never have there been five friends as infamous as The Bad Guys—dashing pickpocket Mr. Wolf (Sam Rockwell), seen-it-all safecracker Mr. Snake (Marc Maron), chill master-of-disguise Mr. Shark (Craig Robinson), short-fused “muscle” Mr. Piranha (Anthony Ramos) and sharp-tongued expert hacker Ms. Tarantula (Awkwafina), aka “Webs.” But when, after years of countless heists and being the world’s most-wanted villains, the gang is finally caught, Mr. Wolf brokers a deal (that he has no intention of keeping) to save them all from prison: The Bad Guys will go good. Based on the blockbuster Scholastic book series by Aaron Blabey, THE BAD GUYS is directed by Pierre Perifel (animator, the KUNG FU PANDA films), making his feature-directing debut.
