In David Lynch’s maniacal thriller, amnesia-suffering Rita (Laura Harring) meets the bright-eyed actress Betty (Naomi Watts) after narrowly escaping murder on Mulholland Drive. As they piece together what happened to Rita, they descend into a hypnotically nightmarish Lynchian rabbit hole– a lethal blue box, an unlucky director named Adam Kesher and a neon-glowing nightclub called Silencio are only the tip of the iceberg in this kinkily off-kilter neo-noir.
