Dr. Fuentes (Federico Luppi), a doctor nearing retirement and contending with the loss of his wife, journeys into the rainforest to visit the medical students he trained years ago. Upon hearing rumors of his former students’ potential demise, he courageously investigates the outlands. Joined by fellow travelers, Fuentes delves deeper into the journey, revealing the stark realities of political conflict. Approaching a rumored Edenic village in the mountains, the expedition becomes both a search for safety and a reaffirmation of Fuentes’ belief in the significance of his life.
