ABOUT THE FILM
Two down-on-their-luck lounge singers – Warren Beatty and Dustin Hollfman – find themselves in the middle of a political uprising in a small Middle Eastern country. Though it was one of Hollywood’s most notorious box office failures, writer-director Elaine May’s inventive comedy is richly deserving of reappraisal.
