The AC is thrilled to welcome Academy Award winning filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller as guest programmers to curate a selection of films that have inspired their work, which includes the acclaimed social satire THE LANDLORD, the underseen animated gem ON-GAKU: OUR SOUND, and the musical comedy classic THE MUPPET MOVIE. The series begins with in person screenings of Lord & Miller’s THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES, Academy Award nominated for Best Animated Feature Film, along with their groundbreaking animated film SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE.
