ABOUT THE FILM:

One of the most controversial films of the 1990s, Larry Clark’s KIDS is a frenetic day in the life of a group of contemporary teenagers in New York City. Featuring Clark’s signature eye for breathtaking photographic images, KIDS is a deeply affecting, no holds-barred landscape of words and images, depicting with raw honesty the experiences, attitudes and uncertainties of innocence lost. Written by Harmony Korine at 19 (after Clark discovered him while skateboarding in Washington Square Park), the film assembles an impressive cast of first-time actors, including Chloë Sevigny and Rosario Dawson in their breakout roles.
